SIM Technology Appoints Senior Executives Strengthens Management Team to Take Business Forward
SIM Technology Group Limited (“SIM Technology” or the “Company”; SEHK stock code: 2000), a leading independent mobile handset and wireless communication module solutions developer operating in China, has promoted Mr. Raymond Tsang from the position of CEO of the Group to Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors. For the China region, the Group appointed Mr. Tony Li as CEO of its China operation.
Mr. Raymond Tsang has over 20 years of experience in the industry during which he has served various multinational corporations. In his new capacity, Mr. Tsang will be responsible for formulating the Group’s overall strategic development direction and new investment initiatives by applying innovative concepts, with the ultimate aim of helping the Group explore more business opportunities and extend the scope of its business. In addition, as an executive director, Mr. Tsang will continue to be the Group’s key spokesperson and be in charge of managing investor relations.
The Group is eager to co-opt young professionals and Mr. Tony Li is one of them. As CEO of China operation, he will assist Mr. Wong Cho Tung, Chairman of the Group’s China operation, in managing work of the Group’s China headquarters. Mr. Li possesses years of management experience in the wireless communications industry. Prior to joining SIM Technology, he was a member of the senior management responsible for communication terminal business of a large telecommunication equipment group. He oversaw research and development as well as sales and marketing of mobile handsets for them.
